Why Choose Isograph Hazop

A Hazop study is only as good as its documentation — incomplete recording of causes, consequences, safeguards and actions creates gaps that compromise process safety management and regulatory compliance. Isograph Hazop provides the structured recording environment that ensures nothing is missed and every action is tracked to closure.

⌨

Guide Word and Parameter Methodology

Isograph Hazop implements the IEC 61882 guide word methodology — systematically applying guide words (No, More, Less, As Well As, Part Of, Reverse, Other Than) to process parameters (Flow, Temperature, Pressure, Level, Composition, Reaction) at each study node to generate the complete deviation set for team evaluation.

📋

Structured Cause-Consequence Recording

For each deviation identified by the team, Hazop records causes, consequences, existing safeguards and recommended actions in a structured, consistent format. Isograph Hazop's tabular interface ensures completeness — prompting for each required field and linking consequences to safeguards and actions.

✅

Action Register and Tracking

Every recommendation generated during the Hazop study is captured in an action register — with owner, due date, priority and status. Hazop action tracking ensures that study findings are closed out systematically, creating the audit trail that major hazard facility operators and regulators require.

⚠

SIS Design and LOPA Integration

Hazop identifies process deviations that require Safety Instrumented System (SIS) protection. Findings feed directly into Layer of Protection Analysis (LOPA) to determine Safety Integrity Level (SIL) requirements — and from there into SIS specification, design and verification per IEC 61511. TMG integrates the full Hazop-LOPA-SIS workflow.

📊

Custom Report Generation

Generate Hazop worksheets, action registers, consequence summaries and management reports directly from the Isograph Hazop database — in Microsoft Word or PDF format with your corporate template. Eliminate the manual compilation effort that makes post-Hazop reporting a bottleneck in process safety documentation.

🎓

Hazop Facilitation and Leadership

TMG provides qualified Hazop facilitators with cross-industry experience — oil and gas, chemical process, LNG, power generation, water treatment, mining and pharmaceuticals. We lead the study team, maintain pace and rigour, ensure completeness of the deviation analysis and produce the final Hazop report.

How The Mantua Group Works With You

Every organisation is at a different point in its reliability journey. We match our engagement to where you are — from full hands-on delivery through to training your team to self-sufficiency.

We Do — You Learn

TMG leads the full implementation with your team participating throughout to build genuine capability alongside delivery. Ideal for first-time deployments or when internal resources are stretched.

We Do Together

Our most common model. TMG engineers work alongside your maintenance, operations and engineering teams in structured workshops — combining their asset knowledge with our analytical methodology to produce models your team trusts and owns.

We Train — You Do

For teams building internal capability, TMG delivers structured training covering software operation, methodology, and integration. Available as public courses or dedicated onsite delivery across Australia and the United States.

Independent Review & Audit

TMG provides independent technical review of existing models and regulatory submissions — assessing methodology rigour, data quality and standards compliance. Particularly valuable ahead of AER determinations, investment board presentations or safety audits.
