About Us
The Mantua Group is a continuous improvement, agile, and LEAN company. Like American Express, which began as a stagecoach horse-drawn freight service and evolved into something relatively larger, we continue to grow.
Today, the Mantua Group operates in the Asset Management, Reliability Engineering, and Maintenance Work Execution space. However, we also provide support for root cause failure analysis investigation services and digital photography, crucial for collecting evidence related to failure incidents. Our diverse operations allow us to offer comprehensive solutions to our clients’ needs.
As we navigate the intricate tapestry of existence, we are constantly presented with choices, each a potential pathway to extraordinary. This is a world where creativity knows no bounds, the curious mind finds solace, and the fearless heart discovers uncharted territories. It is a place where the pursuit of knowledge, the embrace of change, and the willingness to take risks are not mere options but essential ingredients for a life well-lived.
Welcome to a world of limitless possibilities, where the journey is as exhilarating as the destination and every moment is an opportunity to make your mark on the canvas of existence. The only limit is the extent of your imagination.
Our Story Through Time
Since 2001, Mantua companies have not just survived, but thrived, providing a diverse range of capabilities to various industries. Our company’s foundation was laid in 2001 in the United States of America, a testament to our resilience during a challenging economic period that followed the collapse of most of the Asia currencies post the Tokyo housing market collapse.
They say necessity is the mother of invention, from which sprang our first company—Mantua Consulting (c), which specialized in developing prototype electronic test equipment, radio frequency (RF) solutions, and the delivery of asset management and reliability solutions to heavy industry and the metals industry, in particular the steel making business.
Commercial applications of these technologies included surface stress testing systems for aviation applications, and over-the-road aluminum alloy wheel rims used on large transportation trucking. We developed prototype systems for child location and direction-finding signal applications in the RF space.
Our developments in the metals industry included advancements in rolling technology applied to flat-rolled steel, Reliability principles, reliability-centered Maintenance (RCM), Computerized Maintenance Manufacturing System (CMMS) optimization, and maintenance strategy development programs for NASA and the USAF.
Our commitment to innovation and our expertise in secure communications led us to develop one of the first operational mobile maintenance applications in the world. This pioneering spirit is at the heart of Mantua companies, inspiring us to push the boundaries of what is possible in our industry.
Over the last 20 years, we have continued to evolve and now service almost every industry including transportation, rail and over-the-road applications, Mining, below-ground and surface operations, maintenance support systems including IBM’s Maximo and SAP, supporting the communications industry with network performance availability calculations, Defense, oil and gas – upstream, downstream and LNG production, utilities including water, sewer, electrical distribution, and transmission as well as generation powered by wind, solar, natural gas, nuclear, and fossil fuels. Food and beverage and other demanding automation requirements have relocated our main offices from the United States, first to China and now to Australia.
Discover a World of Possibilities
We have worked for many years in many industries like mining, metals, nuclear power, wind, solar, and fossil fuel electric power, LNG production, natural gas extraction, and pipelines, the food industry, defense applications, oil and gas, both offshore upstream and onshore downstream processes.
We apply the right Reliability tools at the right time of your journey, including RAMS analysis, Life Cycle Costs (LCC), Weibull Analysis, Reliability Block Diagrams (RBD), Availability Simulation, Maintenance Strategy management, Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), FMEA and FMECA methods for a wide variety of tailored use cases, Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), Event Tree Analysis (ETA), Level of Protection analysis (LOPA) Safety Integrity Level (SIL), Functional Safety, Work Execution Management (WEM) Planning and Scheduling (PS), and other programs to help our clients grow.

Who We Work With
The Mantua Group offers a wide range of services supporting the fields of Reliability and Asset Management.
We are very experienced with all phases of the work execution cycle associated with Routine Maintenance management of programs comprised of Preventative Maintenance (PM), Predictive Maintenance (PdM), On Condition Inspections and evaluations, the use of periodic overhaul and strategic replacements and the options to run certain components to failure (RFT) decisions.
We are very proficient in the analysis of failure data, often generically referred to as Weibull Analysis and have solved many client discoveries of their underlying failure patterns with the use of statistical techniques like Ordinary Least Squares, Herd- Johnson Approaches, Maximum Likelihood Estimation, Smallest Extreme Value (SEV) analysis dealing effectively with modern data sets injured by left truncation, right censoring (suspensions) and of course would not we all love to deal with complete failure data sets.
Failure data (when it is available and properly analyzed), is quite useful in optimizing maintenance strategies and we are quite familiar with Preventative Maintenance Optimization (PMO), Asset Strategy Management techniques (ASM), Reliability Centered Maintenance approaches, including RCM II, Cost optimized RCM, MSG 3 applications and Dependability approaches all of which can yield the sought after optimal maintenance strategy.
We mentor and design our mentoring engagements to meet your current journey need. One size does not fit all and our Root Cause Analysis (RCA) training, facilitation of incidents of merit and expert analysis of causal factors are available – just ask us!
